Kina Wilkening, LMSW, LCSWA

Kina Wilkening is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina and a Licensed Master Social Worker in South Carolina. She received her Master of Social Work degree at University of South Carolina. Kina attended undergraduate school at Texas Christian University with a major in Advertising/ Public Relations and a minor in Sociology.

Kina’s experience spans across various settings which has provided exposure and expertise to a variety of perspectives, situations, and challenges. She has worked in therapeutic settings and community nonprofits working with adolescents, adults, families, military service members and families, and group settings. As a former marketing professional, Kina also brings her experiences and training to help individuals navigate life transitions, career changes, and work-life balance. She believes in supporting individuals on their journey toward their own wellness goals through a holistic, non-judgmental, compassionate, and collaborative approach. Using methods specific to a client’s needs, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Theory, and Solution Focused Therapy, Kina helps clients explore their biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.

Kina enjoys spending time with her husband and three girls. Together they enjoy hiking, traveling, watching movies, college football, and cooking.
