
Joey Funderburk, LMSW, LCSW-A
Joey Funderburk is a Licensed Master Social Worker in South Carolina. He received both his Bachelors and Master’s degree in Social Work from Winthrop University. Along with TRG Joey currently works at New Hope Treatment Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina as the Performance Improvement Supervisor.
Joey’s experience and focus has been working with adolescents with mood disorders, trauma related issues and sexually harmful behaviors, and issues faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals. Joey is experienced in Good Lives model for treatment to help people learn how they are meeting their needs and to learn to meet them in a healthy way. Along with Good Lives Joey is experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and trauma focused behavioral therapy. Joey takes an enthusiastic approach to therapy and empowering clients. Joey is passionate about helping client discover their own strengths and how to utilize those strength to overcome obstacles in their lives.
When Joey is not working, he enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
