Shine a light for someone who deserves to see through the darkness.

More than half of Americans who need therapy, do not have access to it. The main reason? Financial barriers that can prevent them from ever entering a therapy office.

At Therapy Resource Group, our donors and volunteers grant direct access to therapy for those who would often go years without help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy Resource Group is committed to spending your money in a highly productive, efficient way. We ensure that 95% of your donation will go towards providing trauma informed counseling, resources and community education. Only 5% of operating/administrative costs are funded directly by donations, which means that 95% of all donations from individuals, associations, and foundations provide counseling services, education and resourcing to those who would not otherwise be able to afford it. So for every $20 donated, $19 goes directly to client services and support.

Your donation will directly support qualifying individuals who are in need of trauma informed counseling and resources by covering or subsidizing those costs. For example, a qualifying client (trauma victim identified as “uninsured” or “underinsured”), will be treated by a highly trained licensed counselor at little or no cost to them (client payment amounts are determined by need assessment and collection of financial information).

Beginning in 2022, Therapy Resource Group will have an annual independent audit.

Therapy Resource Group is a non-profit organization exempt from federal income taxation under IRC 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible for United States citizens. For donors outside of the United States, please consult with your tax advisor to determine whether your donation is tax-deductible.
